July Favourites It's that time of the month again where the favourites come about - I swear it always comes around sooooo quickly. Anyway's let get on with it shall we... Everything Everything By: Nicola Yoon Okay. So I know the previous books I have put in my favourites I have said are the best books I've ever read - butttttt this particular book has out shone them all, this has got to be one of my all time faves everrrr. Zoella has her own bookclub and this was one of her recommendations and when she spoke about it I had to read it! It's about a girl called Madeline Whittier (Maddy for short) who just turned 18 years old and has spent her entire 17 years stuck indoors because shes allergic to the outside world. I think that's what made this whole book interesting because I was curious what she's do all day! Anyway she is looked after by Nurse Carla and her mum who keep her company. June Favourites Beautiful Broken Things By: Sara Barnard This book is based on the friendship of 3 school girls - Caddy, Rosie and Suzanne (Called Cads Roz & Suz for short) in the seaside town of Brighton. They have their ups and downs but overall they care deep down. This book touches on mental health which I can't stress how much you need to read this if you're feeling suicidal or you know someone who is, as well as physical abuse. At the back of the book Sara even gives you a variety of places in which you can ring up for help. This book is written so truly through the eyes of a teenager's life in the way they do and overcome things and their attitude. Caddy, the person telling the story literally sums me up as a person, I am not even kidding. She's: quiet, shy, unsociable, doesn't go to parties, boring, does the exact things I would say and do (e.g. Does it then regrets it). Anyway nearer the ending of the book I had to pause myself for a few moment...
