What I use to be obsessed with as a kid

Music

S-Club - Feel Good music. Every song they made would make you wanna get up & dance or sing to your hearts content & it still does to this day. I use to have all their CD's but sadly I think they went to charity. I also still have the video tapes so for sure I won't get rid of them, I wanna watch them now in fact!

Steps - Where do I start? I was a massive fan of Steps & I still have their CD's but not the tapes. I do remember I had the tape where they showed all the video's they made & before each one played they would be sat on a red sofa in the air talking about it. Correct me if i'm wrong if this isn't on the same tape but they did behind the scenes on all the video's too! Annddd much to my surprise they have announced they're coming back with a new album & a tour! THAT IS CRAZY & I CAN'T WAIT. It's been SOO LONG!

High School Musical - Of course everyone LOVED hsm! I put this under music because of course there are many many great songs that I still know the lyrics to. As well as it being 3 films, I could watch them over and over because I fricken love & enjoy it!

Books

Rainbow Magic Fairy books - On a Saturday morning, me & my Nan would go to our local book shop where she would buy me the Rainbow Magic books & if they didn't have the particular one in the lady would kindly order it in for us. I collected them up until number 1-35 then I stopped and then collected from 51-63. And the author kept going until book 175 which is INSANEEE. I also collected 4 of the special edition books which were much thicker than the usual books but she has done sooooo many other special edition books. Basically every 7/8 books are based on a particular theme (rainbow, weather, music fairies) and Jack Frost and his goblins are the villains who mess something up and the fairies find a way to stop them along with the help of their friends Kirsty & Rachel. I honestly don't know how the author kept going with the stories surely people would get bored after a while. But hey ho I loved them & they kept me entertained.

Jacqueline Wilson - I was obsessed with her books SOO MUCH that I have 40 of her books. Yup dedicated. Me & my dad would go to this other book shop where we'd buy the books second hand for 50p/£1 & I built up my collection, I loved the stories and the characters! Jacqueline Wilson is my favourite childhood author and she's still writing them, so go her!

Toys

Bob The Builder - Very young I'm talking here I had everything Bob the Builder, you name it books, tapes, toys, clothes, even my birthday cake, I was that in love with it.

Thunderbirds - You're probably thinking but that's for boys!? Well I think it can be for either gender because their is girls in it too (Lady Penelope & Tin-Tin). I had the books for it as well as Tracy Island which I still think is pretty darn cool! Looking back on it now the original puppets are quite scary. Buttt they've re-invented it and made it into a cartoon now which is much pleasing to the eye & I do actually watch it, it's quite interesting.

Puppy In My Pocket - I think what started me off with this collection was that some of the dogs were free with a magazine and I fell in love & my collection grew. I also remember looking for them in the Argos catalogue as they sold them there (who was the kid that went through at xmas deciding what you wanted). They're pretty sweet and there are also Kitty/Jungle in my pocket but I didn't collect them.

Nintendo DS - Everyone had one of these as they were so popular. I had the pink one & I have kept it till this day because it is way to precious to get rid of. I played games like Mario Super Bros, Bratz (what a surprise), my secret world, HSM, Imagine teacher/ballet dancer/fashion model (Who else wanted all the imagine games!? XD), The Simpsons & many others.

Barbie - Another faze I had, quite a few Barbie dolls, I loved pink! I even had Barbie roller skates and a Barbie Scooter. It makes me laugh now!

Bratz - This was ma thingggg!!!! This beats Barbie altogether XD My friends included loved it just as much to the point where I was crazy over it. Bratz took over the world. I just thought they were super dooper cool. Who remembers Woolworths!? R.I.P. god I miss that shop so much it had everything you could possibly want as a kid! Well I'd always go there and look at the Bratz section and I wanted everything XD Thinking about it now I had the winter lodge house omg it was big and it folded shut, to me at the time it was amazingggg, I will try and find a picture of it! OMG OMG OMG there were also these coloured box rooms (gym, bedroom, party and lounge)

Sylvanian Families - Who doesn't love Sylvanian Families ayy!? It's amazing how they can make the little objects. The only two main things I had from them was the Caravan & Pony with the Badger family and The Sweet Shop. The caravan is so cleverly made, it has folded beds & a toilet, a small basement & a button underneath that lights up the lantern at the front in red!! Can I just say how AMAZING they're and fun to play with. You know inside you get a little leaflet with other rooms and houses that they do, well I always kept those and in my mind mentally ticked the ones that I liked.

Polly Pocket - At the same time as Bratz I also adored Polly Pocket. That was also in Woolworths & something I'd always look at. There was a time I begged mum to buy me this jungle pool thing and she gave in and bought it, will also find a picture. The little outfits you could dress them and the little objects were so cuteeeee!!! I had a boy doll to that I called Simon haha XD I would then combine some of the little objects from the Polly Pocket with Bratz and vice versa.
