April Favourites

Wolf blood;
This programme is on CBBC and yeah I know it's probably aimed at the younger but to be honest I really enjoy it and that's all that matters. Anyway it is now on series 4 and I was a bit reluctant to watch it because it didn't have much of the original cast. However my mind has changed completely since watching it and I've grown to love it. It's definitely taken a while to get use to it as Jana the main character has moved from Stoneybridge to the city which is a big change because Stoneybridge was so small and to go to urbanisation there is so much going on and so many places to run to. I also really really love the new theme tune for the opening and outro of the show.

Rise of the Guardians;
This came on CBBC and I can't describe how fricken awesome this animated film was, like how have I never seen this before and it came out in 2012 aswell! So the main characters are Jack Frost (the voice of Chris Pine ohmygawd), Santa, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and the Sandman who mission it is to stop Pitch who brings evil, fear and darkness to the children's nightmares in the world. Jack Frost is chosen to be the guardian by the man in the moon although he is invisible to the children as they don't believe in him *sad face*. Along the way they face problems until the end where a little boy named Jamie is the only child who has it's light on the globe and is the only one to have good dreams. Jack is lingering around his bedroom outside his window because he see's Jamie speaking to his toy rabbit and asking him to say something because he knows the Easter bunny is real but gets no response. Jack mists up the window, draws the bunny and makes it snow in his room and Jamie can actually see him!! At this point I got a bit emotional, but happy emotional because a child finally see's him and believes in him. They both gather Jamie's friends and the other guardians around and defeat pitch until his own nightmares go against him and he becomes invisible to the children and gets sucked into his own world in the ground. (woahhh to much writing there sorry!).

Lost & Found Music Studio's;
Oh look another TV show that I've fallen I love with and yes it's on CBBC, seriously this month I am loving what they're showing! Okay so this connects with The Next Step as they're both in the same building and some of the TNS members appear in L&F. Instead of dance it's music and people come to this studio to find who they're (music wise).

Otter Nurseries & Summer Peach votive Yankee Candle;
During half term I went to a garden nursery called Otter Nursies and I've honestly fallen in love with this place I definitely want to go back! It's literally huge with row upon row of beautiful flowers and fruit trees to choose from. As well as an indoor area for bedding plants and other garden stuff. You literally need to spend a whole day here as there's so much to see. Anyway they have a massive shop too and I discovered the candle section, I have never see so many Yankee candles in my entire life! Me and Aleena were smelling them all and she found this one called Summer Peach, it smells sooooo goooood!!! So I got the votive of it to burn in my room. There are SO MANY scents, ones I've never heard of but for sure next time I'm going to have to get more, typical me...*cheeky face*

Cadbury amaze bites - chocolate orange flavour brownie
I had seen these in the supermarkets before but never gave it a second thought. I ask myself why didn't I try them sooner! I nearly had the entire tub because they taste like heaven, no lie. Thinking about them now I'm starting to crave for them. They even have chocolate chips inside and the brownie texture oh my god I must stop haha.

Buffet City;
Another food related thing. Instead this literally is like a buffet of Asian food - you pick what food you want and as much as you want until well until I was full. They even do desserts too and that is another matter! (I had all 4 flavours of ice cream & I'm not even ashamed) But their food is heaven too, I had these chicken on sticks, egg fried rice, noodles, BBQ ribs, this really really sweet coconut sauce thing and loads more! By the end I was SOOO full, I had never eaten so much food before in one go that I could barely walk afterwards!
