May Favourites
I am actually so gutted right now, my original post of May Favourites has seem to have disappeared and I have no idea why. I've tried everything to get it back but it's not happening. Sooo...I'm going to re-type it which is so annoying, I see now how it feels when YouTubers say they've lost footage because it's just like you spent all that time and BAM! It's gone. Hmm. Never mind at least it was a very short one. Here we go again...Please don't go again...!
Apple and Rain By Sarah Crossan;
Everyone should read this book, it's just simply amazing and you can get so engrossed into it. It's about a girl named Apple who lives with her Nana because her Mum left her and now she's come back after 11 years. Nana is strict but means well and Apple starts to get annoyed of how she's treating her. So Apple decides to go and live with her mum in a flat when out of the blue she gets a surprise - one which she wasn't expecting, someone is also lost herself - Rain. She is quite mental. Reason is because she carries this doll named Jennie who she treats like it's her own baby. She: feeds, dresses, talks to, takes her everywhere with her and hates people doing anything bad to her. This drives Apple insane. Her Mum (Annie) has always wanted to be an actress and she gets these auditions in London and she doesn't come home for a couple nights. She leaves young Apple to look after Rain until one time they both have an argument and Rain is no where to be found....going to leave it there because I'll literally be writing the whole story hahaha! Overall - Brilliant.
Costa Caramel Shortbread;
Okay so this is literally heaven. Why haven't I tried this sooner haha. The caramel and biscuit sets it off omg. This goes up there with one of my all time faves - Lemon Tart. Really lush and really filling but really good. Not much else to say...
Lush 'New' Shampoo Bar;
I have never tried this before and was a bit reluctant to using it because it just seems strange having shampoo in solid form. However my view has turned right the way round and I love it so much - it's my life saver, literally. You literally rub the bar in your hands until it creates bubbles and then massage it in your hair. The smell is another thing that put me off at first because it's so dam strong smelling of peppermint and a cinnamon stick in the middle but that scent doesn't rub off into your hair. So my underneath hair before was dry, frizzy and I have no other word to describe as but 'dead'. But after I used it, it literally repaired my hair!!!!!!!! It is no longer what it use to be but now straighter like normal hair and healthier looking which I am so so so pleased about. Bonus - it's all natural products.
