Otter Nurseries Garden Centre

I had the most lovely day out at Otter Nurseries and was better this time because as we got to explore more of the area. Firstly we looked around the outside area where there are row upon row of a variety of plants, I'd never seen so many in my life haha which then followed into the inside area where all the bedding plants and garden accessories are. I have to admit last time we went there were more nicer colourful flowers than this time but hey ho they were all still very nice. They even have a little pond area with fish and you can look at the when standing in a wooden porch which looks very beautiful.

After we had looked around me and Mum were starting to get a bit peckish, so we headed to the restaurant and oh my god the food was sooooooooo delicious. I had a toasted chicken and cheese panini with a side of crips and salad, Aleena had tomato and basil soup with croutons and a homemade bread roll and Mum had a massive portion of gammon pork belly with chips and peas. As well as pot of tea for 3, hehee that rhymes.

We then went round the massive shop they have which is literally like a maze because they have different sections e.g. clothes, garden, homeware (my fave), gifts, arts & crafts, kitchen...with so many entrances that lead into them so it felt like I was going in circles sometimes. If you ever need to buy a present for someone you are bound to find one here!

We must have spent a good 2 hours or something looking around which sounds so long but trust me whilst you're in their you want to have a look at everything plus stopping for toilet breaks hahaaa!

When me and Aleena went outside to wait for Mum it was an area where you could buy fountains and garden ornaments like animals which looked so realistic! In particular was a big fountain that had ornaments with water coming out of them and at the bottom you could see glistening against the sun that people had thrown in money which reminded me of when I went to Paris. So me and Aleena threw 1p each in and made a wish, lets hope it comes true...If you look carefully you can see the money.

Lastly we decided to go back to the restaurant (yet again haha) but this time for a drink and cake as it was near the time where we were going to leave. We ordered and I brought the tray over with people staring at me because I had 3 massive slices of cake with a strawberry milkshake, pot of tea and water so i'm not surprised by that! Anyway I had a coffee and walnut cake which was absolutely fabbbbbb and Mum and Aleena had lemon cake. Honestly couldn't believe how massive the portions were, I could only manage half so I wrapped the remaining in a tissue to take home. I tried Aleena's milkshake and it reminded me of strawberry angel delight.

YUM!!
