Patisserie Valerie

Whilst in the city, me and I'm going to give a code name for this person (turtle) had the best lunch date that I've ever had. We picked out a Blackforest cake from all the lush looking cakes/tarts in the window which looked like heavennnnn! 


 The place is called Patisserie Valerie that looks incredibly fancy and up market. The cake was all packaged up in a box to take away and the lady, who was very lovely and polite offered me a bag so I thought why not and even that bag was so cute! We then went and had a McDonald's, a step down from the previous place but you can't beat a McDonald's, literally my favourite fast food place to eat in. 

 After we'd finished I was so full but excited to tuck into the cake carefully unpackaging the box because we weren't sure which way round it was. Turtle halved it and even halved the cream, the swirl and the logo to make it fair hahaha! Thank god there was plastic forks/knives available from the shop as it would of been a job to eat it. 

The thing I love about this cake is the cream as super dooper soft and creamy as well as how easy and soft it is to cut into the sponge, reminds me of clouds haha! In the middle is cherries which we were trying to figure out what the cake was called because it had no name so turtle went and had a look on the website. I could of easily demolished the whole thing and possibly another, but I am so excited till next time to try out another one. #Cake1

Lush So my friend bought me two Lush Products for my birthday ages ago and I took pictures of them and I have just found the pictures on my laptop so I thought I would write a little review about them and hope you'd enjoy them. Seeing as I love Lush so much I thought each time I buy something from there I would write a little review on it.  Ickle Baby Bot "Fill the bath with water, get in and release this Ickle ballistic into the water and let him do his sleep inducing work" - Lush This smells so amazing for such a small bath bomb. Once you put it in the water it immediately fizzes around the outside, lets off blue clouds into your bath and also lets off a gorgeous aroma at the same time. It does dissolve very quickly but what do you expect for a small bath bomb. It leaves your water a nice pleasant blue that is transparent.  I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a calm relaxing bath with not to much in it, And would definitely purchase myself....

June Favourites Beautiful Broken Things By: Sara Barnard This book is based on the friendship of 3 school girls - Caddy, Rosie and Suzanne (Called Cads Roz & Suz for short) in the seaside town of Brighton. They have their ups and downs but overall they care deep down. This book touches on mental health which I can't stress how much you need to read this if you're feeling suicidal or you know someone who is, as well as physical abuse. At the back of the book Sara even gives you a variety of places in which you can ring up for help. This book is written so truly through the eyes of a teenager's life in the way they do and overcome things and their attitude.  Caddy, the person telling the story literally sums me up as a person, I am not even kidding. She's: quiet, shy, unsociable, doesn't go to parties, boring, does the exact things I would say and do (e.g. Does it then regrets it). Anyway nearer the ending of the book I had to pause myself for a few moment...

Thoughts About The Future As I have grown up and spent my whole life by the countryside and living in a seaside town I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Whenever I go to cities it always makes me feel too overcrowded, uncomfortable and the air not as fresh. Not saying I don't like them, I do, just not living in one. That's why whenever we are away from all that I am so relieved to get home.
