August Favourites

Illuminate By Shawn Mendes

So my fave singer evaaaaaa has released 4 new songs from his new album Illuminate which are Treat You Better, Ruin, Three Empty Words and Mercy. They're all in incredible especially Mercy, it's so subtle and clam then goes really powerful and my reaction was like WOAH! Literally can't wait for the rest of his songs to be released next month, the little Shawn I use to watch has grown so much, I am sooo proud of him!

Days out with family and friends

As its been holiday season I have been able to go out with people and have a great time. It's just so nice to hang out and talk about whatever. I have been to various places around or near my area that I have created memories in that I can look back on.

Great British Bake Off

It's back and that makes me incredibly happy because I love this programme so much! Purely because I love to bake as well so it's like an hour of goodness. It just makes me feel so cosy in the evenings snuggled on the sofa and seeing what the contestants have to make and how they do. From the first episode my faves are Val, she is crazy with some of the things she was doing that made it funny however she is so sweet. I also like Selasi who I have never known someone to be so chilled and calm in a panicky situation and end up with the best results (he's such a good baker!). Lastly I like Benjamina who I was so surprised in the showstopper round, managed to get a cake ready in 30 mins like that's crazy! I was getting so worried because her first two attempts weren't working but she pulled through, well done gurl!

Think Twice By Sarah Mlynowski

So remember that book I read back in January called Don't Even Think About It, well this is the sequel to it. It continues because the espies have lost their telepathy and they try to find a way to get it back, Pi being the smart one and the leader of the group comes up with different experiments to do so buy putting people into groups. I feel as if in this book it goes more into dept in each characters life and follows them around rather than an actual storyline. There are 20 of them which is a lot to keep track of, sometimes I was like whose that again haha! At the end you find out which espie was telling the book all along as the book is written as if its "we" and "us" and third person point of view. The quiet ones are the ones you've gotta watch out for heheheee;) I do say you would have to read the first book before as it would be hard to get your head around. But overall it was a good book and I praise the author for trying to make an ending with so much that had gone on. I also like the reference at the end sentence to the title of the book, which was clever.

McVities digestive milk chocolate nibbles

These are just bites of amazingness I tell you. So you know when you put something in your mouth for a few seconds and you're like ohhhhhmyyyyygodddd this is heaven, well yeah that is how I felt when I firstly tried them. Because they're tiny balls of digestive coated with chocolate you have one, then another and another until you're scoffing the whole pack without realising, well yep that happened to me to. They are hands down my new fave snack.

Chocolate Coconut macaroons

As a child I use to hate these, I don't even know why, and I ask myself what was I thinking!? I'm totally in love with them because the mix between chocolate and coconut is like the best combination! I must have eaten like 3 from a packet, that's how lush they're. I know I'm going to be purchasing these more regularly!
