November Favourites

It's nearly Christmas!!! Aaaaahhh I'm super excited and I'm in the festive spirit! There are a couple of Christmassy things, just letting you know in advance in case you roll eyes if you're not a Christmassy person, but who isn't?

Christmas Adverts
So you know how everyone raves about the John Lewis advert each year well it's not doing it for me this year unfortunately, it just seems a bit meh. However, the ones I do like are the Sainsbury's one which I wasn't expecting to be SOO long (literally a story), Marks & Spenser and of course can't forget the Coca Cola advert, which quite frankly it isn't Christmas until that comes on! #HolidaysAreComing



 Lower Your Expectations 
Listening to podcasts makes an alternative to music and reading. This month a Youtuber I subscribe to has released one with Matt Viney, and I LOVE it. Between them, they share stories (most of which make me laugh a lot) and about what it's like to be a day in the life of a Youtuber, as well as what it's like working with one. Trust me it's so good to listen to!



I'm A Celebrity
This year's line up has got to be my favourite. Simply because everyone is so supportive of each other and they all get along soooo well. Buttttt when the two new camp mates came in, well lets just say it changed the whole jungle dynamic but everything went back to normal after a while, phew! They have all pretty much aced the trials. I think this year the trials haven't been as bad/hard that's why they got all the stars. I love the girl squad, but personally I'd love for Scarlett to win, she is so positive and fun to be around. 



Christmas Costa drinks
Me and my friend are Costa lovers and we are there pretty much every week, is that bad? hahaa!
I'm so glad they brought back the gingerbread latte again this year as it's my favourite drink Costa has ever made! It's sweet but SOOO delicious words can't express my love for it. It even comes with a mini gingerbread + whipped cream + golden star sprinkles, now that's the ultimate Christmas drink. I've also tried the others like the mint hot choc which isn't as strong as you think, it's like a subtle hint of mint but really nice. Also can I say how fricken CUTE the Christmas jumper take-away cups are!

Lush So my friend bought me two Lush Products for my birthday ages ago and I took pictures of them and I have just found the pictures on my laptop so I thought I would write a little review about them and hope you'd enjoy them. Seeing as I love Lush so much I thought each time I buy something from there I would write a little review on it.  Ickle Baby Bot "Fill the bath with water, get in and release this Ickle ballistic into the water and let him do his sleep inducing work" - Lush This smells so amazing for such a small bath bomb. Once you put it in the water it immediately fizzes around the outside, lets off blue clouds into your bath and also lets off a gorgeous aroma at the same time. It does dissolve very quickly but what do you expect for a small bath bomb. It leaves your water a nice pleasant blue that is transparent.  I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a calm relaxing bath with not to much in it, And would definitely purchase myself....

June Favourites Beautiful Broken Things By: Sara Barnard This book is based on the friendship of 3 school girls - Caddy, Rosie and Suzanne (Called Cads Roz & Suz for short) in the seaside town of Brighton. They have their ups and downs but overall they care deep down. This book touches on mental health which I can't stress how much you need to read this if you're feeling suicidal or you know someone who is, as well as physical abuse. At the back of the book Sara even gives you a variety of places in which you can ring up for help. This book is written so truly through the eyes of a teenager's life in the way they do and overcome things and their attitude.  Caddy, the person telling the story literally sums me up as a person, I am not even kidding. She's: quiet, shy, unsociable, doesn't go to parties, boring, does the exact things I would say and do (e.g. Does it then regrets it). Anyway nearer the ending of the book I had to pause myself for a few moment...

Thoughts About The Future As I have grown up and spent my whole life by the countryside and living in a seaside town I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Whenever I go to cities it always makes me feel too overcrowded, uncomfortable and the air not as fresh. Not saying I don't like them, I do, just not living in one. That's why whenever we are away from all that I am so relieved to get home. The sea is my favourite for many reasons... - Somewhere you can go to have some thinking time - Hang out with friends  - Go for a walk - The sound of the waves - Nice on sunny days to relax - The sea air gives you a good nights sleep - Beach huts are super cute (I always go past and decide which colours are the best) Now doesn't that sound perfect?  Brighton is the place where I'd want to live because it has everything you need.
