December Favourites Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families and ate lots of delicious food! We are still so stocked up on food so whenever I go in the kitchen I am literally spoilt for choice. Anyways welcome to the last favourites of the year & my last one that'll post in a while or maybe ever, it depends. I don't have the motivation to do these anymore sorry:( but it was fun doing them! Hope that's okay...plus I have managed to do the whole year so go me :) Nail varnish I go through phases of having motivation to paint my nails and as it has been a Christmassy month I've had lovely glitter nails in gold, silver & red which I loved so much!!! I got a quick dry nail varnish from turtle for Christmas and guess what its Called?...Road rage hahaha! But it's a beautiful blue/green. And when you paint your nails it looks like you've made an effort & people compliment you & it makes your nails look 1000X better! ...
'Tis The Season Christmas is finally here and I couldn't be more excited wooohooooo!!! It is honestly the best time of year & a good one to end the year on. Also can you believe the year is over already, like I swear this is the only year that's flown by WAY TOO FAST!  Anyways back to Christmas. Our house is all cosy and decorated. I love how I've done my room sooooo much, it makes me feel all warm and festive.  This is the season where all your friends and family get together and have a jolly good time. I bloody love it.       Ooooh another thing I love about Christmas is the lights people put outside/on their houses. There's those people who go to town on lights or othe...

November Favourites It's nearly Christmas!!! Aaaaahhh I'm super excited and I'm in the festive spirit! There are a couple of Christmassy things, just letting you know in advance in case you roll eyes if you're not a Christmassy person, but who isn't?  The countdown has begun... Christmas Adverts So you know how everyone raves about the John Lewis advert each year well it's not doing it for me this year unfortunately, it just seems a bit meh. However, the ones I do like are the Sainsbury's one which I wasn't expecting to be SOO long (literally a story), Marks & Spenser and of course can't forget the Coca Cola advert, which quite frankly it isn't Christmas until that comes on! #HolidaysAreComing Lower Your Expectations  Listening to podcasts makes an alternative to music and reading. This month a Youtuber I subscribe to has released one with Matt Viney, and I LOVE it. Between them, they share stories (most of which...

The Worrier To sum me up = I am the shy type of person who worries about anything and everything. I overthink way too much, thinking all the negative outcomes when really I'm creating a problem which isn't there.  And when I worry too much, it prevents me from doing what ever it is and then I feel stupid for letting the fear defeat me. Sooo...I can hopefully overcome by... Believing in myself more! Just go for it. Let it go. You'll be fine. Get out of that shell I've been in. Be confident.  What have I got to loose?  I want this to be a goal for next year because quite frankly I don't like being this type of person anymore.  There's no harm in trying because I might actually enjoy it, and then I'll probably be like 'seeee you numpty'.

October Favourites Autumn My favourite season is upon us and it makes me v.v.v excited! I love the whole cosy feeling having my candles lit, lots of hot drinks and my thick pj's. As well as that, the crisp weather which means I can layer and finally wear my jumpers (I have wayyyyy to many but I love them!!) Anyone else also love the tree's and the leaves changing colours of red, brown, yellow and orange which look super pretty. Oooh and the crunch of the leaves is very satisfying hehe!  Christmas is coming.... ;) Would I Lie To You? TV Show One of the funniest shows I've ever watched as it gets to the point where I'm in tears of laughter. It's that dam good! Hosted by Rob Brydon who is a fabulous funny host along with the two team leaders Lee Mack & David Mitchell who are just as funny. Basically the point of it is there are two teams and a celebrity reads out a statement and the opposite team have to guess whether ...

September Favourites   Candy floss grapes These blew my mind because how on earth can you make a grape taste like candy floss?!? Someone care to explain? Another question: does that make them healthy? If so I'll be eating them for the rest of my life hahah! But I love them a lot and when I tasted a normal grape I was not as keen. Best invention though!  Burgundy and Khaki Green  'Balloon' Jumper  Simple baggy jumpers in two colours because I couldn't pick between the two haha! Getting prepared for Autumn (Best season EVER) and they will be useful for the coming months as they're SOOO warm and comfy!  The Rest Of Shawn's album 'Illuminate' I LOVE EVERY SONG. SUCH A TALENTED HUMAN <3 You can probably tell I'm pretty excited about it, he nails it every time. SO PROUD! Our girl The second series but this time with the main character being Georgie Lane a.k.a Michelle Keegan who is a paramedic in the...

August Favourites Illuminate By Shawn Mendes So my fave singer evaaaaaa has released 4 new songs from his new album Illuminate which are Treat You Better, Ruin, Three Empty Words and Mercy. They're all in incredible especially Mercy, it's so subtle and clam then goes really powerful and my reaction was like WOAH! Literally can't wait for the rest of his songs to be released next month, the little Shawn I use to watch has grown so much, I am sooo proud of him!  Days out with family and friends As its been holiday season I have been able to go out with people and have a great time. It's just so nice to hang out and talk about whatever. I have been to various places around or near my area that I have created memories in that I can look back on.  Great British Bake Off It's back and that makes me incredibly happy because I love this programme so much! Purely because I love to bake as well so it's like an...

Thoughts About The Future As I have grown up and spent my whole life by the countryside and living in a seaside town I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Whenever I go to cities it always makes me feel too overcrowded, uncomfortable and the air not as fresh. Not saying I don't like them, I do, just not living in one. That's why whenever we are away from all that I am so relieved to get home. The sea is my favourite for many reasons... - Somewhere you can go to have some thinking time - Hang out with friends  - Go for a walk - The sound of the waves - Nice on sunny days to relax - The sea air gives you a good nights sleep - Beach huts are super cute (I always go past and decide which colours are the best) Now doesn't that sound perfect?  Brighton is the place where I'd want to live because it has everything you need. Even though I've never visited it i'm pretty sure what I've seen of it I am bound to ...

Patisserie Valerie Whilst in the city, me and I'm going to give a code name for this person (turtle) had the best lunch date that I've ever had. We picked out a Blackforest cake from all the lush looking cakes/tarts in the window which looked like heavennnnn!  The place is called Patisserie  Valerie that looks incredibly fancy and up market. The cake was all packaged up in a box to take away and the lady, who was very lovely and polite offered me a bag so I thought why not and even that bag was so cute! We then went and had a McDonald's, a step down from the previous place but you can't beat a McDonald's, literally my favourite fast food place to eat in.  After we'd finished I was so full but excited to tuck into the cake carefully unpackaging the box because we weren't sure which way round it was. Turtle halved it and even halved the cream, the swirl and the logo to make it fair hahaha! Thank god there was plastic forks/knives available from the s...

July Favourites It's that time of the month again where the favourites come about - I swear it always comes around sooooo quickly. Anyway's let get on with it shall we... Everything Everything By: Nicola Yoon Okay. So I know the previous books I have put in my favourites I have said are the best books I've ever read - butttttt this particular book has out shone them all, this has got to be one of my all time faves everrrr. Zoella has her own bookclub and this was one of her recommendations and when she spoke about it I had to read it! It's about a girl called Madeline Whittier (Maddy for short)  who just turned 18 years old and has spent her entire 17 years stuck indoors because shes allergic to the outside world. I think that's what made this whole book interesting because I was curious what she's do all day! Anyway she is looked after by Nurse Carla and her mum who keep her company. Then one day a family move in next door and a particular someone - ...

June Favourites Beautiful Broken Things By: Sara Barnard This book is based on the friendship of 3 school girls - Caddy, Rosie and Suzanne (Called Cads Roz & Suz for short) in the seaside town of Brighton. They have their ups and downs but overall they care deep down. This book touches on mental health which I can't stress how much you need to read this if you're feeling suicidal or you know someone who is, as well as physical abuse. At the back of the book Sara even gives you a variety of places in which you can ring up for help. This book is written so truly through the eyes of a teenager's life in the way they do and overcome things and their attitude.  Caddy, the person telling the story literally sums me up as a person, I am not even kidding. She's: quiet, shy, unsociable, doesn't go to parties, boring, does the exact things I would say and do (e.g. Does it then regrets it). Anyway nearer the ending of the book I had to pause myself for a few moment...
